QC launches new vaccine registration portal

The Quezon City Government launched a new vaccine registration portal called QC Vax Easy to address difficulties residents faced with previous systems.

Within four hours of its launch on Friday, June 25, 2021, nearly 20,000 Quezon City residents had already registered through the new portal.

QC Vax Easy will be a city-assisted registration system to expand the current registration processes of the city's "QCProtektodo" vaccination program.

Residents can register by filling out a form at https://qceservices.quezoncity.gov.ph/qcvaxeasy.

Unlike previous systems where individuals could choose their schedule and site, the city health department will assign vaccine schedules and sites closer to the registrant's residence or workplace.

Registrants will be assigned a vaccination schedule and site by the City Health Department based on vaccine availability and priority group.

QC Mayor Joy Belmonte stated that QC Vax Easy will serve as an alternative or additional registration method while other schemes remain operational.

The city government's contract with eZConsult is still valid, according to the legal department, and any termination should follow legal procedures.
