QC expands vax sites to 140 locations

The Quezon City government has expanded its vaccination program to 140 sites to inoculate more residents and workers against COVID-19.

These new vaccination sites include health centers, malls, schools, community venues, churches, and special venues like the Quezon Memorial Circle.

The city government is also conducting vaccination activities in subdivisions, private companies, government agencies, and care homes.

Limited walk-in slots are available at mall sites, with stubs required, and walk-ins are accepted if vaccine supplies are abundant.

The vaccination program also offers home vaccination for the bedridden and differently-abled, drive-through services in mall parking lots, and pharmacy-based services.

Mayor Joy Belmonte stated that the program aims to accommodate the city's eligible population of approximately 2.8 million residents, including children aged 5 to 11, as well as non-resident workers.
