Miriam Defensor-Santiago's PRP declares support for Mayor Sara for president
The People's Reform Party (PRP), founded by the late Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago, has announced its full support for Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte if she decides to run for president in the 2022 elections.
PRP president Narciso "Jun" Santiago Jr. stated that the party believes Mayor Duterte can continue the advocacies and principles of the late Senator Miriam Santiago.
He expressed hope that Mayor Duterte would heed the strong public clamor for her to run for the highest office in the land.
The PRP has also joined Lakas-CMD and the National Unity Party in calling for President Rodrigo Duterte's to run for president next year.
The PRP head also said that the party will throw its support for presidential spokesperson Secretary Harry Roque should he join the senatorial race.
