PRO3, Muslim leaders renew partnership for peacebuilding

Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) and Muslim leaders renewed their partnership through the Regional Salaam Advocacy Group during an oath-taking ceremony for new officers at Camp Olivas, Pampanga.

The event, attended by PRO3 Deputy Regional Director for Operations PCOL Reynaldo S. Ogay Jr. representing PBGEN Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr., highlighted the PNP's commitment to collaborating with faith-based organizations.

Ogay relayed a message emphasizing that this partnership is crucial for achieving the 'Bagong PNP' vision, which focuses on crime prevention, cybercrime response, anti-drug operations, and integrity.

The ceremony also saw the transfer of leadership from outgoing president Brother Ustadz Kamar Sabdulla to incoming president Brother Samsoden P. Manalocon, signifying the group's continued dedication to peacebuilding and unity.

The Regional Community Affairs and Development Division (RCADD) facilitated the event, reinforcing the PNP's collaborative approach with faith-based groups.

This reinforced partnership aims to promote mutual respect, understanding, and cooperation, ultimately contributing to a safer and more harmonious Central Luzon.
