PRC deploys over 1,000 volunteers for Feast of Nazareno

The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) is deploying over 1,000 volunteers and staff to provide assistance to devotees during the 2025 Feast of Jesus Nazareno.

PRC Chairman and CEO Richard Gordon stated that the organization is fully prepared for the event.

One First Aid station was opened at Katigbak Drive ahead of the January 9 procession to accommodate devotees attending the Pahalik at the Quirino Grandstand, which began Monday evening.

Two First Aid stations will be operational at the Quirino Grandstand starting January 7, with additional stations and welfare desks opening on January 8.

All PRC teams are scheduled to be in position by midnight on January 9, the day of the feast, to ensure efficient operations.

Seventeen First Aid stations will be strategically placed along the Traslacion route, which spans from the Quirino Grandstand to Quiapo Church.

An emergency field hospital will also be available to assist devotees.
