PNVF clarifies 1XBET logo visibility only on global feed

Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) President Ramon "Tats" Suzara clarified that the gambling site 1XBET's logo was only visible on the global feed of the 2025 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship, not on domestic broadcasts or actual courts in the Philippines.

This clarification came after Senator Erwin Tulfo raised concerns during a public hearing regarding the alleged presence of the gambling site's logo during the games.

Suzara emphasized that 1XBET is illegal in the Philippines, and therefore its logo is not shown on local television channels like Cignal TV or One Sports.

He also stated that the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) had informed them about restrictions on the usage of such logos beforehand.

Suzara also addressed criticisms regarding empty seats during the tournament, attributing it to the pool phase games featuring less popular countries and the long duration of the event.

To address concerns about attendance, the local organizing committee offered 30 percent discounts on select tickets for the remainder of the tournament.
