PNP to resume front line administrative services
The Philippine National Police (PNP) is set to resume processing of licenses, permits, and clearances for the public as the economy begins to partially reopen.
PNP chief Gen. Archie Francisco Gamboa has directed police units to create plans for the smooth resumption of these services.
Services from the Firearms and Explosives Office (FEO), Supervisory Office for Security and Investigative Agencies (SOSIA), Highway Patrol Group (HPG), and local police stations for clearances will be made available again.
These administrative functions were temporarily suspended due to the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) implementation.
Additionally, the PNP is engaging religious groups to inform them about health protocols and regulations for gatherings under the modified community quarantine.
