Police assistance desks set up, COVID protocol officers designated in Taal evacuation centers
Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Guillermo Eleazar has ordered the establishment of police assistance desks in evacuation centers in Batangas to ensure the safety and health of residents displaced by the seismic activities of Taal Volcano.
Over 1,600 evacuees are currently housed in at least 10 evacuation centers across Laurel, Talisay, Balete, and Agoncillo.
