PNP sends 54 personnel to augment Cebu City ECQ implementation

Fifty-four police mobile force personnel from Eastern Visayas were dispatched to augment the Police Regional Office 7 in Cebu City to support the implementation of the enhanced community quarantine.

This augmentation was directed by Philippine National Police Chief Gen. Archie Gamboa.

The team, comprising 52 police non-commissioned officers and two police commissioned officers, will be led by PMaj. Vicente Bullecer Jr.

Before their deployment, the personnel underwent health checks, including rapid tests, and were provided with personal protective equipment and vitamins.

The decision to send additional personnel aligns with the spirit of 'Bayanihan' and aims to address the challenges faced by frontliners in Cebu City.
