PNP deploys over 31,000 cops nationwide for Undas 2025

The Philippine National Police (PNP) is on full alert nationwide for Undas 2025, deploying 31,298 police officers to ensure public safety and security.

This deployment will be augmented by 11,707 members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Bureau of Fire Protection, and Philippine Coast Guard, along with 29,899 force multipliers.

Police personnel will be stationed in 5,065 cemeteries, memorial parks, and columbaria, with 5,169 police assistance desks established to aid the public and manage crowd flow.

PNP acting chief Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. stated that the PNP has expanded its security coverage to cyberspace to monitor online threats, scams, and misinformation.

While no specific security threats have been detected, intelligence gathering and police patrols will continue in residential and commercial areas.

The PNP is coordinating closely with local government units and partner agencies to ensure a peaceful observance of Undas.
