The incident occurred in Barangay Menchaca, Calatrava, Negros Occidental, when the PMFC was tracking a wanted person.
Acting PNP Chief Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. stated that the PNP is gathering evidence for a case build-up and will take all necessary legal and operational measures to prevent future incidents.
