PNP deploys medical team to PICC patient care center
The Philippine National Police (PNP) has deployed 16 police medical officers and healthcare personnel to manage a quarantine facility at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) for suspected COVID-19 cases.
PNP chief Police General Archie Francisco Gamboa stated that the PNP is honored to take on this responsibility in the national effort against COVID-19.
The PICC facility will provide supportive care under the supervision of the PNP Health Service and the Department of Health (DOH).
A total of 42 PNP personnel will rotate in manning the quarantine hub.
