PNP anti-drug unit seizes P43.9-M narcotics in Nov.
The Philippine National Police Drug Enforcement Group (PNP-DEG) confiscated nearly P44 million worth of illegal drugs and apprehended 63 individuals during November 2024 operations.
A total of 62 anti-illegal drug operations were conducted, comprising 36 buy-busts and marijuana eradication missions.
Seized items included approximately five kilograms of shabu, 230 milliliters of marijuana oil, 46,800 fully grown marijuana plants, and 6,311 grams of dried marijuana.
These operations are in line with the PNP's 2024-2028 Anti-Illegal Drug Campaign Roadmap, which emphasizes a humane and rights-based approach.
PNP chief Gen. Rommel Francisco Marbil instructed police commanders to strictly adhere to human rights law and operational procedures in all anti-drug operations.
