Of the 78 infected personnel, 12 have recovered and three have died.
A total of 580 PNP personnel are currently considered suspected cases, and 96 are probable cases.
The PNP is enforcing heightened enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) measures in collaboration with the military, particularly in areas with high COVID-19 infection rates.
PNP spokesperson, Brig. Gen. Bernard Banac, stated that the PNP will intensify monitoring of COVID-19 cases among its personnel and strictly implement a PNP-wide Biosafety Plan.
