PLDT opens PVL Reinforced Conference with dominant win over Capital1

PLDT began their campaign in the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference with a dominant straight-sets victory over Capital1, extending their winning streak to 14 games.

The High Speed Hitters secured the sets with scores of 25-22, 25-20, and 25-23, aiming for their third consecutive championship.

Savi Davison led PLDT's offense with 22 points, including 15 attacks and seven blocks, while import Anastasiia Bavykina contributed 15 markers.

Kianna Dy was also instrumental with 10 points, including crucial blocks and attacks.

Capital1 suffered their second consecutive loss, despite a strong effort from players like Sasha Bytsenko and Bella Belen.

During the third set, Capital1's libero and team captain, Roma Mae Doromal, was stretchered off the court due to stomach cramps and did not return.
