PH Navy: 20 China Coast Guard vessels, warships seen in WPS first week of December
The Philippine Navy reported monitoring 20 Chinese coast guard and naval ships in the West Philippine Sea during the first week of December.
Two PLA Navy warships and five CCG ships were observed near Scarborough Shoal.

The Navy spokesperson stated that the presence of 101 Chinese maritime militia vessels, as reported by the PCG, is within the usual numbers observed in the area, as typically 300 to 350 such vessels are monitored at any given time.
