PCG vessel pushes CCG ship away from Zambales coast

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) successfully maneuvered its vessel, BRP Cape San Agustin, to push a China Coast Guard (CCG) vessel farther away from the Zambales coastline.

Despite challenging sea conditions with waves reaching 2-3 meters, the BRP Cape San Agustin managed to increase the distance to approximately 135 nautical miles from the coast.

PCG spokesperson for West Philippine Sea (WPS) Commodore Jay Tarriela shared a video showing a radio challenge issued to the CCG vessel.

Two additional CCG vessels, CCG-3305 and CCG-3502, are being monitored by the BRP Cape San Agustin as they loiter and conduct unlawful patrols near Bajo de Masinloc.
