Army deploys over 16K personnel to secure Eleksyon 2025
A total of 16,489 Philippine Army personnel have been deployed nationwide to support security operations for the upcoming midterm elections on May 12.
These soldiers are assigned to secure 63,663 polling precincts and man 661 AFP-PNP-Comelec checkpoints across the country.
The deployment includes 6,712 personnel for checkpoints and 9,777 personnel for polling centers.
