PH records 1,672 new COVID-19 cases, 311 recoveries

The Philippines reported 311 new COVID-19 recoveries on Wednesday, November 11, 2020, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 362,217.

The Department of Health (DOH) also confirmed 1,672 new cases and 49 deaths, increasing the total active cases to 31,489 and the death toll to 7,710.

Of the active cases, approximately 83.3 percent are mild, 9.4 percent are asymptomatic, 2.5 percent are severe, and 4.6 percent are in critical condition.

Cavite recorded the highest number of new infections with 100 cases, followed by Davao City, Quezon City, Batangas, and Baguio City.

Data from November 10 showed that 5.8 percent of those tested were positive for COVID-19.

The DOH has a total bed capacity of 21,300 for COVID-19 patients, with 54 percent of ICU beds, 59 percent of isolation beds, and 69 percent of ward beds available.
