PFP faction endorses Isko Moreno for president

A faction of the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP), led by Abubakar Mangelen, endorsed Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko" Moreno for president, citing his focus on Mindanao's issues and recognition of Moro heritage.

Mangelen praised Moreno for establishing an Islamic cemetery in Manila, which significantly aided Muslims in the capital.

Moreno thanked the PFP faction, humorously referring to the endorsement as coming from "thank you plus two" voters.

This endorsement by the Mangelen wing of the PFP came after Mangelen had filed a disqualification case against Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr., though the case was dismissed by the poll body.

However, the PFP national secretary-general Tom Lantion denounced the Mangelen faction's endorsement of Moreno.
