Perpetual Altas keep Final Four hopes alive with win over EAC Generals

The University of Perpetual Help Altas secured an 86-80 victory against the Emilio Aguinaldo College Generals, keeping their Final Four aspirations alive in the NCAA Season 99 men's basketball tournament.

Jelo Razon led the Altas with 22 points, including crucial baskets in the final moments of the game.

This win avenged Perpetual's earlier loss to EAC and simultaneously ended the Generals' own Final Four bid with their 8-9 record.

Despite building a significant 26-point lead, the Altas had to hold off a late comeback attempt by the Generals, who narrowed the gap to 82-78 with less than two minutes remaining.

Art Roque contributed 14 points and eight rebounds, while Christian Pagaran added 12 points for the Altas.

Key players for EAC included JP Maguliano with 23 points, six rebounds, and four assists, Gurtiza with 15 points, and Kyle Ochavo with 14 points.
