Mapua clinches Final Four berth in NCAA Season 99

Clint Escamis led the Mapua Cardinals to a 69-53 victory over the Perpetual Altas, securing their spot in the Final Four of the NCAA Season 99 men's basketball tournament.

The Cardinals extended their winning streak to four games and now hold a commanding 13-3 record, also clinching a twice-to-beat advantage in the playoffs.

Escamis had an all-around performance with 17 points, four rebounds, four assists, and six steals.

Warren Bonifacio contributed 11 points, six rebounds, and three assists, while Jopet Soriano added 10 points, seven rebounds, and two steals for Mapua.

Perpetual's comeback attempt fell short, snapping their four-game winning streak and leaving them with an 8-8 win-loss record.

Art Roque had a double-double effort of 13 points and 12 rebounds for the Altas.

Mapua University further solidified its top seeding in the NCAA Season 99 men's basketball tournament with an 84-75 victory over Arellano University, extending their winning streak to five games.

Marc Cuenco was named Player of the Game with 17 points, while MVP frontrunner Clint Escamis added 15 points, and they moved to a 14-3 win-loss record.

Arellano University dropped to a 2-14 record.
