2 nabbed with P1M shabu in Cotabato City entrapment

Two suspected drug peddlers were arrested in an entrapment operation in Cotabato City, yielding over PHP1 million worth of shabu.

The suspects, identified as Madam Sor and a companion known only as "Matao", were apprehended inside a rented room in a lodging house.

They agreed to sell 150 grams of suspected shabu to an undercover agent, leading to their arrest and the seizure of the illegal substance and other evidence.

Both are now detained at the PDEA-BARMM detention facility and face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

This operation in Cotabato City follows a separate sting operation in Marawi City where P3.4 million worth of shabu was seized, leading to the arrest of Arham Hadji Omar Alim.

PDEA-BARMM has confiscated over PHP80 million worth of shabu in the region since January.
