P4.2M worth of shabu seized in Quezon ops; 11 nabbed

Seven drug suspects were apprehended in simultaneous operations across Quezon province, resulting in the seizure of over P3.5 million worth of shabu.

The Quezon Provincial Police Office confiscated a total of 176.41 grams of suspected shabu during six sting operations conducted over a 24-hour period.

Two of the arrested individuals, identified as "Janjan" and "Dennis", are listed as high-value individuals on the PNP's drug watchlist.

The majority of the confiscated drugs, amounting to 165 grams, were seized from "Janjan" and "Dennis" during their arrest in Lucena City.

The remaining five suspects were apprehended on lesser drug charges in separate operations in Lucena City and the towns of Sampaloc, Mauban, and Sariaya.

In a separate operation early Sunday, May 19, four alleged drug pushers were arrested in Tiaong town, Quezon, with police seizing over P667,000 worth of shabu.

Police recovered six plastic sachets of meth weighing 32.70 grams with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of P222,360 from the four suspects, identified as "Aldrin", "Jizelle", "Dennis", and "Christian".

The confiscated shabu from the Tiaong operation is worth P667,080 in the street market.

The suspects in the Tiaong operation are facing complaints for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
