PCOO chief Andanar contracts Covid-19
Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Secretary Martin Andanar confirmed on Monday, March 29, that he tested positive for COVID-19.
Andanar is currently not experiencing any symptoms and is isolating at his home in Metro Manila.
He stated he will continue to work and perform his duties remotely while recuperating.
Andanar's positive test result came after a trip to Dinagat Islands, where he had previously tested negative.
He joins several other Cabinet members who have contracted the virus, including Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, Trade Secretary Ramon Lopez, Interior Secretary Eduardo Año, Public Works Secretary Mark Villar, and Education Secretary Leonor Briones.
