PBBM signs MOA to combat illegal recruitment in Pampanga

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. announced the signing of a memorandum of agreement aimed at combating illegal recruitment and human trafficking in Pampanga.

The agreement involves various national government agencies, including the Department of Migrant Workers, Department of Labor and Employment, TESDA, and OWWA, in collaboration with Pampanga's local government units.

These partner agencies will work together with the Pampanga provincial government to implement programs specifically targeting illegal recruitment and human trafficking within the province.

President Marcos made the announcement during the distribution of AKSYON fund assistance to OFWs in San Fernando, Pampanga.

He also took the opportunity to express his gratitude to Overseas Filipino Workers for their sacrifices and contributions to the country.
