PLLO reorganized; presidential legislative affairs adviser removed
President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has ordered the reorganization of the Presidential Legislative Liaison Office (PLLO) through Executive Order 90 to streamline its functions and align with the administration's rightsizing policy.
The PLLO is now under the supervision and control of the Office of the Executive Secretary (OES).
The position of Presidential Adviser on Legislative Affairs (PALA) has been abolished by the order.
The reorganized PLLO will be headed by an Undersecretary, assisted by two Assistant Secretaries for the Senate and the House of Representatives.
The mandates of the PLLO's Administrative, Financial, and Management Division will be absorbed by the Office of the Deputy Executive Secretary for Finance and Administration (ODESFA) and the Office of the Deputy Executive Secretary for Support Services and Auxiliaries (ODESSSA).
