Marcos Jr. distributes P29M aid to Pampanga farmers, visits fire victims

President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. distributed P10,000 cash aid each to nearly 3,000 farmers and farm laborers in Pampanga, amounting to P29 million.

The assistance, sourced from the DSWD's Ayuda sa Kapos ang Kita Program (AKAP), was personally handed out by the President.

During the "Handog sa Titulo Program and Distribution of Assistance" event, the DENR also provided land patents, deeds of sale, and 5,000 seedlings to agricultural families.

In a separate event, President Marcos Jr. visited fire victims in Tondo, Manila, where he vowed government assistance and distributed cash aid to 2,184 displaced families.

He also led the inauguration of the P61.7 million Rice Processing System (RPS) II Project in Guagua, Pampanga, which aims to improve rice processing efficiency.

The Department of Agriculture (DA) unveiled a separate P1.27-billion assistance package for farmers and fisherfolk in Zamboanga del Sur.
