PBBM to release P25M aid to Batanes after Typhoon Julian

Marcos stated that the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) will release P10,000 cash assistance to every affected household.

The DSWD has provided P2.78 million worth of assistance, while the Office of the Civil Defense (OCD) gave 10 kilos of rice to each of the 4,000 beneficiaries.

Fourteen thousand food packs will be distributed to families, and the President assured residents that their local government will help in rebuilding damaged houses.
