PHP13.3B shabu haul in Batangas largest ever

The Philippines' largest-ever shabu bust, with an estimated two tons of drugs seized worth PHP13.3 billion in Batangas, was conducted without casualties.

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. stated that the successful operation demonstrates the effectiveness of the country's drug war without resorting to violence.

He asserted that there is no need to change the government's anti-drug strategy due to the high yield of seizures, believing their approach to the drug war is the most successful yet.

Marcos warned members of drug syndicates that his administration would prosecute them with the full force of the law, stating, "Aabutan din namin kayo. Maliit lang ang Pilipinas."

The confiscated shabu brings the total amount seized under his administration to over 13.2 tons.

Authorities are currently tracing the source of the illegal drugs, which were not locally manufactured.
