PBA Philippine Cup quarterfinals set with top seeds holding twice-to-beat advantage

The PBA Philippine Cup quarterfinals feature competitive matchups with the top four seeded teams – San Miguel Beer, NLEX, Magnolia, and Barangay Ginebra – all ending the elimination round with identical 8-3 win-loss records.

San Miguel Beer, the top seed, will face Meralco, while second seed NLEX takes on Rain or Shine, with both top seeds holding a twice-to-beat advantage.

Magnolia, the third seed, will play against TNT, and fourth seed Barangay Ginebra is set to clash with Converge, with these two also enjoying a twice-to-beat edge.

The playoff games are scheduled to commence on Wednesday, June 18, at PhilSports Arena, with NLEX versus Rain or Shine at 5 p.m. and Magnolia against TNT at 7:30 p.m.

Subsequent games on Friday, June 20, will be held at Ninoy Aquino Stadium, featuring Meralco vs. San Miguel at 5 p.m. and Barangay Ginebra vs. Converge at 7:30 p.m.

Winning teams will advance to separate best-of-seven semifinals series.
