Palace thanks int'l community for Odette aid pledges

Malacañang expressed gratitude to the international community for their pledges of financial and in-kind assistance to victims of Typhoon Odette.

Acting Presidential Spokesperson and Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles conveyed the administration's appreciation for the support received.

Several countries and international organizations, including Australia, Canada, China, the European Union, France, Japan, the United Kingdom, the USA, the UN, and Qatar, have offered their help.

The Palace anticipates further aid from other nations and development partners.

The Australian government has collaborated with the Philippine Red Cross to enhance relief operations.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has committed financial aid, specifically for essential needs like water and sanitation, channeled through the Red Cross.
