PAL transports LTG donations for OFWs in Beirut

Philippine Airlines (PAL) has facilitated the turnover of donations from the Lucio Tan Group (LTG) intended for overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) in Beirut, Lebanon.

These donations, which include 27,500 face shields, 3,000 boxes of disposable masks, and 1,000 boxes of Vitamin C, were received by Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) officials.

The donated items will be coursed through the Philippine embassy in Beirut and added to 5,000 boxes of relief goods already provided by the DFA.

PAL is also scheduled to fly to Beirut on Friday to repatriate approximately 300 OFWs as part of the DFA's ongoing repatriation efforts.

Additional provisions from LTG, such as energy drinks, iced tea, soy milk, bottled water, and fruit juices, will be distributed to OFWs arriving on PAL repatriation flights.
