PAL rolls out RT PCR swab testing one stop shop at NAIA T2
Philippine Airlines (PAL) has launched a one-stop-shop (OSS) facility at NAIA Terminal 2 to conduct mandatory RT-PCR swab testing for returning overseas Filipinos and authorized foreign nationals.
The PAL OSS, operational starting August 1, aims to boost the airport's capacity for screening travelers and processing quarantine needs for passengers arriving on PAL flights.
The facility can test up to 1,200 passengers daily and aims to provide test results within 48 hours.
This new center is accredited by the National Task Force (NTF), the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF), and the Department of Health (DOH).
The PAL OSS will work alongside the existing government-run IATF One-Stop-Shop, which will now exclusively cater to arriving Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs).
This initiative, dedicated to non-OFW travelers, represents a collaboration between the industry and the government to streamline testing protocols for arriving passengers.
