PAL, CEB reduce China flights amid nCov concerns
Philippine Airlines (PAL) and Cebu Pacific (CEB) have reduced flights to and from Chinese destinations due to novel coronavirus concerns.
CEB will cut flights to mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau between February 5 and March 29, offering passengers options to rebook, refund, or store ticket value.
PAL will maintain scheduled flights to Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Jinjiang, Xiamen, Hong Kong, and Macau, but has suspended charter flights between Kalibo and Nanjing, Hangzhou, and Shanghai.
PAL's flight reductions are in addition to previous cancellations of charter flights from China.
The airlines are implementing preventive measures such as cabin spraying, mask-wearing for cabin crew, and providing face masks to passengers.
