PAL, CEB begin VTL flights to Singapore

Philippine Airlines (PAL) and Cebu Pacific (CEB) have commenced their Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) flights to Singapore, allowing eligible fully vaccinated travelers to enter quarantine-free.

Cebu Pacific's VTL flights began on March 3, while Philippine Airlines started theirs on March 4.

AirAsia Philippines is set to launch its VTL flights on March 5 and anticipates increasing flight frequency later.

To qualify for quarantine-free entry, travelers must present proof of vaccination, a negative RT-PCR test result, and travel insurance.

Additionally, passengers arriving in Singapore must undergo a supervised self-swab antigen rapid test within 24 hours of arrival.

PAL will also operate up to two daily flights from Singapore to Manila.

Meanwhile, Ninoy Aquino International Airport is preparing to double its daily cap on international arrivals from 5,000 to 10,000.
