PAL cancels all domestic flights to and from Luzon

Philippine Airlines (PAL) has cancelled all domestic flights to and from Luzon effective March 17 until April 12, 2020, with flights resuming on April 13.

PAL clarified that the cancellation was effective midnight of March 17, despite an earlier advisory stating 'effective immediately'.

International flights will continue to operate until March 19, with subsequent flight status to be announced.

PAL is coordinating with government authorities regarding the travel restrictions and their implementing details.

The airline advised passengers with travel and ticketing concerns to call their hotline as no other options were announced.

Luzon was placed under enhanced community quarantine by President Rodrigo Duterte to contain the spread of COVID-19.

Foreigners are given a 72-hour window to exit Luzon airports, while only Filipinos are allowed to enter the country.
