Pag-IBIG offers 3% interest housing loan for low-income members, OFWs

Pag-IBIG Fund is offering a special subsidized interest rate of 3 percent per annum for the first five years on housing loans under the Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (Expanded 4PH) Program.

This low interest rate is accessible to eligible Pag-IBIG members from the lowest income segments up to the seventh income decile, and all overseas Filipino workers (OFWs).

First-time homebuyers earning below P47,856 monthly in the National Capital Region and P34,686 outside NCR are eligible for the subsidized rate.

OFWs qualify irrespective of income.

The loan can be used to purchase socialized housing units, including house-and-lot packages (up to P850,000) and condominium units (up to P1.8 million) under accredited 4PH projects, or Pag-IBIG acquired assets within these price ceilings.

This initiative aligns with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s directive to enhance access to affordable and dignified housing as part of the Bagong Pilipinas vision.
