PAF delivers more relief goods to flood-hit Cagayan towns

The Philippine Air Force (PAF) delivered relief goods to five more towns in Cagayan that were affected by heavy flooding.

The towns that received assistance were Lasam, Solana, Lal-Lo, Allacapan, and Aparri.

A total of 1,050 kilograms of relief items were transported via two PAF UH-1H helicopters.

Additionally, the PAF Civil-Military Operations Group distributed 1,135 food packs and 172 sacks of rice in Cagayan Valley on the same day.

The PAF also transported relief goods on November 18, 2020, to eight other towns in Cagayan via a PAF C-295 aircraft.

These towns were Baggao, Peñablanca, Enrile, Solana, Iguig, Alcala, Amulong, and Gattaran.

The relief items consisted of bottled water, sacks of assorted goods, and used clothes.

PAF spokesperson Lt. Col. Aristides Galang assured that the PAF will continue to work around the clock to support Filipinos affected by calamities.
