Two suspected drug traffickers nabbed in Rizal, Laguna ops

Two suspected major drug traffickers were apprehended on Monday, Oct. 14, in buy-bust operations in Rizal and Laguna provinces, resulting in the seizure of more than P802,000 worth of shabu.

In Antipolo City, Rizal, "Jerico" was apprehended after selling shabu to an undercover officer, with 13 plastic sachets weighing 85 grams and worth P757,316 seized from him.

He is classified as a high-value individual in the illegal drugs trade.

In Calamba City, Laguna, "Arvin" was arrested and found with seven sachets containing 35 grams of shabu worth P224,800, along with a digital weighing scale.

Arvin is recognized as a street-level drug pusher in the locality.

Two mobile phones were seized during the operations and will be examined for records of drug transactions.

Both suspects are under police custody and are facing complaints of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
