OFWs, foreigners allowed to leave PH with proof of travel

Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), balikbayans, and foreign nationals are allowed to leave the Philippines anytime during the enhanced community quarantine, provided they present proof of international travel itinerary scheduled within 24 hours.

Departing passengers may be accompanied by no more than one person to any international port, and sendoff parties are prohibited.

Filipino tourists are still not allowed to depart the country.

Filipinos abroad, along with their foreign spouses and children, are permitted to return to the Philippines.

Foreign nationals arriving from specific countries with travel restrictions remain subject to entry protocols, including medical certification requirements.

The Department of Tourism (DOT) welcomed the lifting of the 72-hour travel window for departing individuals.
