NU's Figueroa, UST's Pastrana named CPC Players of the Week

Jake Figueroa of National University and Kent Pastrana of University of Santo Tomas have been recognized as the Collegiate Press Corps (CPC) Players of the Week for their outstanding performances that propelled their respective teams.

National University has secured the first Final Four berth and the twice-to-beat advantage in the men's division, largely due to Jake Figueroa's consistent all-around play and leadership.

Figueroa showcased his versatility in crucial games, contributing significantly in scoring, rebounding, assists, and steals against Adamson University, Far Eastern University, and University of the East.

University of Santo Tomas remains the only undefeated team in the women's division at 12-0, with Kent Pastrana playing a vital role in their success.

Pastrana delivered a career-high performance, helping the Growling Tigresses clinch a Final Four spot while maintaining their perfect record.
