NU Lady Bulldogs clinch 12th straight win, secure Final 4 twice-to-beat advantage

The National University (NU) Lady Bulldogs secured their twelfth consecutive victory and a twice-to-beat advantage in the Final 4 of the UAAP Season 88 women's basketball tournament by defeating University of the East (UE) with a dominant 81-48 win.

With this win, the defending champions improve to a 12-1 record, carrying an eleven-game winning streak into their upcoming showdown against undefeated University of Santo Tomas (UST).

NU's coach DA Olan emphasized maintaining the same rigorous preparation and winning mindset for their final game against UST, aiming to avenge their first-round loss.

Ann Pingol led the team with 18 points, seven steals, six rebounds, and three assists, while Dindy Medina contributed 16 points, primarily in the first half.

The Lady Bulldogs established control early, outscoring UE 23-11 in the first quarter and extending their lead with a significant 30-8 run in the second quarter for a 53-19 halftime advantage.
