NU Bulldogs snatch comeback win vs Adamson Falcons

The National University (NU) Bulldogs secured a comeback victory against the Adamson Soaring Falcons, winning 56-54 in the UAAP Season 88 men's basketball tournament.

Captain Jake Figueroa scored the go-ahead basket and made the last six points in a crucial 15-2 run in the closing minutes to overcome an 11-point deficit.

Figueroa led the Bulldogs with 17 points, along with three assists, three steals, two blocks, and two rebounds.

Jolo Manansala and Gelo Santiago contributed nine points each for NU, who improved their record to 4-1.

Cedrick Manzano scored 16 points for the Soaring Falcons, while OJ Ojarikre added eight points and 11 rebounds.

Adamson, who now holds a 1-4 record, was led by Manzano and Ojarikre, but ultimately fell short.

This win allowed NU to bounce back after their undefeated streak was broken by the University of the Philippines.
