NU Bulldogs win second straight UAAP volleyball game

The National University (NU) Bulldogs secured their second consecutive victory in the UAAP Season 86 men's volleyball tournament by defeating the Adamson Falcons in four sets.

Despite a setback in the second set, the defending champions rallied to win with set scores of 25-19, 25-27, 25-21, and 25-18.

Key players Nico Almendras and Jade Disquitado powered the Bulldogs' offense, with Almendras scoring 23 points and Disquitado adding 21.

This win places NU in a four-way tie for second place alongside University of Santo Tomas, La Salle, and Ateneo.

Ateneo also achieved a victory, sweeping the University of the Philippines in their match.

NU coach Dante Alinsunurin noted the team's overconfidence in the second set and emphasized the need for greater resilience in crucial moments.

Player Joshua Retamar highlighted the team's ongoing adjustment following their loss to UST and the importance of consistent effort.
