NTF to inspect storage facilities for Covid-19 vaccines
The National Task Force Against Covid-19 (NTF), Department of Health (DOH), and vaccine cluster will begin inspecting cold storage facilities for Covid-19 vaccines on Wednesday.
NTF deputy chief implementer Vivencio Dizon mentioned that Orca, Royal Cargo, and Zuellig Pharma are among the first companies to be visited.
Dizon also identified 33 third-party logistics companies that the government has coordinated with for the proper handling of vaccines.
These firms possess the capacity to provide the necessary pharma-grade cold storage facilities required for sensitive vaccines.
An additional five companies are scheduled to meet the NTF on Thursday, including DB Schenker, DHL Global Forwarding, and Air Speed.
The NTF aims to ensure the proper rollout of the immunization program to reach all Filipinos, even those in remote areas.
