NLEX Road Warriors clinch twice-to-beat advantage in PBA Philippine Cup

The NLEX Road Warriors secured the first twice-to-beat advantage in the PBA Philippine Cup after defeating the Magnolia Hotshots 107-99, their eighth win in 10 games for the solo lead.

Despite trailing by as much as 19 points early in the game, NLEX mounted a comeback, with Robert Bolick leading the charge with 25 points, nine rebounds, and five assists.

Bolick's crucial three-pointers and four-point plays in the second half helped the Road Warriors create separation from the Hotshots.

Xyrus Torres contributed 22 points, including a four-point shot, while rookie Brandon Ramirez added 18 points and nine rebounds.

Fellow first-year player Jonnel Policarpio also made a significant impact off the bench with 12 points and six rebounds after returning from injury.

This victory guarantees NLEX a quarterfinal bonus as a top four finisher, a remarkable feat for a team that missed the playoffs in the previous conference.

Magnolia, with a 7-3 record, now sits in third place and needs to win their next game against TNT to secure a twice-to-beat advantage.
