NLEx deploys 1,500 personnel for Undas season traffic management

NLEx Corporation is intensifying its traffic management measures across major expressways, including NLEx, NLEx Connector, and SCTEx, from October 30 to November 3 to accommodate the expected surge in travelers during the Undas season.

Over 1,500 personnel, comprising patrolmen, marshals, security teams, and toll staff, will be deployed to ensure smooth traffic flow and provide assistance.

The traffic on North Luzon Expressway is expected to get heavier on Thursday, October 30, and Friday, October 31, due to the influx of travelers.

Robin Ignacio, NLEX assistant vice president for traffic operations, stated that the peak influx is anticipated from Thursday afternoon until Friday afternoon.

All lanes are now passable to motorists as road works and closures have been suspended in light of Undas.

Free towing services for stalled vehicles to the nearest exit will be available for all vehicle classes from October 30 to November 3.

Motorists are advised to secure their RFID sticker for faster transactions at toll gates.
