Nikki Valdez recounts difficult COVID-19 battle

Actress Nikki Valdez shared her painful experience after she and her husband, Luis Garcia, contracted COVID-19.

Valdez described the initial two weeks of isolation as the hardest, experiencing extreme body aches, flu-like symptoms, and a persistent mild dry cough, despite having a normal temperature.

She expressed deep concern for her mother, a senior citizen, and their daughter who were living with them during their infection.

Valdez emphasized that COVID-19 affects not only physical health but also one's emotions significantly, stressing the reality of the virus.

After their recovery, she extended her gratitude to friends, family, and especially their monitoring doctors, whom she called 'unsung heroes'.
