Heaven Peralejo shares COVID-19 ordeal in vlog

Actress Heaven Peralejo shared her personal experience of contracting COVID-19, describing it as one of her toughest challenges.

She documented her ordeal in a vlog to raise awareness about the reality of COVID-19 and to help others coping with the illness.

Peralejo tested positive while on a locked-in taping for the show 'Bagong Umaga', which led to a temporary halt in production and quarantine for the staff.

Her symptoms included low stamina, headache, body pain, and difficulty breathing, though she did not have a fever.

Her condition worsened, prompting her doctor to advise hospitalization due to dropping oxygen levels, requiring her to use an oxygen machine.

With the help of ABS-CBN, she was provided an ambulance and admitted to a hospital, where she eventually recovered.

Heaven Peralejo is now a COVID-19 survivor and plans to share more about her journey in future vlogs.
